Over 600 Deaths in Georgia due to COVID-19

Over 600 people in Georgia have died from the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  The latest numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Daily Status Report for 6:30pm on Thursday, April 16, 2020, list 617 deaths, 16,368 total infections, and 3,260 hospitalizations.  This data represents confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health. A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for the Coronavirus. Rabun County lists 7 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.
