Over 400 People tested for COVID-19 at Clayton Baptist Church

District Two Public Health has conducted four COVID-19 Specimen Point of Collections at Clayton Baptist Church and over 400 people have been tested for the coronavirus.  District Two Public Health Public Information Officer Dave Palmer gives the numbers.  “We’ve averaged a little over 100 a day.  We’ve held four clinics there and we’ve tested a total of 470 people.”  Palmer gives the COVID-19 positivity rate for Rabun County.  “On the Georgia Department of Public Health website, the map there is showing that the overall positivity rate for Rabun County is around 8%.”  Individuals who want to be tested for COVID-19 should call the Rabun County Health Department at 706-212-0289 to schedule an appointment.
