Officers Kicked and Ran from After Alleged Shoplifting Incident

Law enforcement in Clayton arrests two on multiple charges following an incident at the Family Dollar Monday evening.

According to reports on file with the Clayton Police Department, thirty nine year old Pedro Garcia and twenty six year old Carrie Owens Noble, both of Clayton, were arrested after the manager reported that Garcia allegedly tried to walk out of the store without paying.

Garcia was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor theft by shoplifting as well as drunk and disorderly, and was also charged with obstructing or hindering law enforcement and misdemeanor escape after allegedly running from officers.

Noble was charged with drunk and disorderly, as well as interference with government property and obstructing or hindering law enforcement after allegedly repeatedly kicking the inside of the patrol car as well as an officer.
