Next Week Could be a Wet One

With rain showers popping up here and there throughout the County this past month, it could be hard to imagine that Georgia is below average for rainfall this year, but that is the case. USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey says that next week could put the whole southeast back on track…

“Georgia and the Carolinas look to be getting some relief in the coming days.”

This weekend is expected to be dry, next week tho, not so much…

“With at least 1-2 inches of rainfall expected over the next 5 to 7 days.”

he adds that it could be much more than that in some parts of the Southeast…

“Looking ahead the next 5 to 7 days, we could see anywhere from 5 to 6 inches or more in some of those wettest areas.”
