New Water and Sewer Chairman

It was decided in last weeks Water and Sewer meeting that Sam Beck would take over as Chairman from Billy Johnson for the 2014 year. The vote was not unanimous as some members including Sam were not in attendance for the meeting. Sam will now be Chairman for both the new and old Water and Sewer Authorities and says that could be beneficial for both…

“For me to be the Chairman of both, you know we’re trying to move towards a common goal, and having common steering, going in that direction you know will certainly help. Like I said everybody is moving forward in that direction and I think everything will move forward smoothly.”

Beck will take over starting in January.
