Meemic Insurance Company provides 20% Premium Refund to Auto Insurance Policyholders

As part of our commitment to help customers in this uncertain time, Meemic Insurance Company will issue premium refunds to its auto insurance customers. Every policyholder with auto insurance in effect as of April 30, 2020, will receive a 20% policy refund of two months of premium. This reflects current and anticipated continued reductions in miles driven.  Refunds will be processed as soon as regulatory approval is received from individual state departments of insurance and will generate a policy credit.  Meemic is a proud member of The Auto Club Group. “For over 115 years, AAA has provided peace of mind to our members and customers, wherever and whenever they need it on life’s journey,” said Joseph J. The premium refunds apply to Meemic Insurance customers in four states: Michigan, Wisconsin, most of Illinois, and Georgia. During the COVID-19 crisis, Meemic is focused on providing relief for our customers and the communities we serve. In addition to a premium refund, we are providing other forms of support.
