Man arrested for making Terroristic Threats

A Lakemont man stands charged with making terroristic threats and acts towards his wife.  On Sept. 5, 2019, deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Reed Lane in Lakemont regarding a domestic complaint.  Upon arrival, deputies meet with the 32-year-old victim, who stated that her husband, 53-year-old Warren Harbin Ramsey, was intoxicated and had threatened to kill her.  According to the incident report, the couple was arguing and the husband grabbed a knife, then stabbed into a plastic bowl, used abusive language, and made the threats. Warren Ramsey was arrested for terroristic threats and acts and transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.  Deputies told the wife about F.A.I.T.H. and provided her with domestic violence assistance. The wife told deputies that this was the second time that her husband had threatened to kill her. Again, this was an arrest and all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
