Lakemont Man Arrested After Failing to Report Move

A Lakemont man has been arrested for failing to register as a sex offender.

According to Chief investigator of the Rabun County Sheriff’s office, captain Jack Tanksley, 65-year-old Vicente Ernesto Olguin was arrested on May 10th after failing to report that he moved within the state law 72-hour time frame.

Olguin also failed to report his place of employment.

As of last report, Olguin is still in the Rabun County Detention Center. Once he is released, he must re-register as a sex offender.
