Lake Rabun Striped Bass Record Blown Out of the Water!

A local fisherman, Danny Wall of Lakemont, Ga, caught a Bass in Lake Rabun Wednesday morning that annihilated the Lake Rabun record for striped bass that was set in 2007. The record as it stood before Wall landed the monster bass was 20 lbs, ll oz, set on March 11th, of 2007 by Larry Brewer. According to Georgia DNR, Wall was using a homemade jig when he reeled in a striped bass weighing in at more than 19 pounds over the old record. After a weigh-in of the 41 inch long bass, the New Official Record for Lake Rabun is now a whopping 39 lbs, 14 oz. Listen in tomorrow afternoon for comments from Mr. Wall on his trophy catch.
