Jr. Wildcats Look to Closeout Careers With 65-0 Record

Wildcat PawThe 11 year old Jr. Wildcats Football team is looking to close out an incredible record as a team this Saturday at East Jackson High School, when the play Jefferson for the Championship, say their Head Coach Rob Stockton…

“I think the keys to our victory is to just do what we do, to go and take care of business. If we’ll control the ball and not turn it over, and I think it’s without question that we’ll show up and we’ll play hard. Our kids hustle, we have out-hustled and out-fought every team we have played for the past 64 games, and I expect that to hold true once more.”

10 of the members of the team have been together since 6 years old and Stockton says it’s been a long road to get to 64-0…

“Iv’e seen these kids get knocked down and get back up, to fight when it was easier to quit, to love when it was easier to hate, and the sky is the limit for them. I know these kids know how to represent a family well, and that’s what they’ve done better than anything, playing football is an offset to the fact that these kids know how to get it done.”

Saturday’s game will be at 5:30 and all the action can be heard on the All New Real Country 100.3 WGHC.
