Decision Favors Tom Ramey Jr

Mayor of Tiger, Tom Ramey Jr, has been the target of controversy since he was accused of his primary residence not being in Tiger. On Friday, after a few days of gathering information, the Board of Elections believed that he has met the requirements, and has agreed to allow Ramey to seek re-election.

Karen Miller, a 17-year resident of Tiger, had a differing opinion on the decision.

“I presented his water bill for a year, which ranged from zero to 1700 gallons, which does not sustain a home-living place.”

As for Ramey, he hopes to continue to make Tiger great.

“I want to finish some projects that I’ve wanted to do. I’m proud of Tiger and the way that it looks.” Ramey said following the decision.

Stay tuned as we follow the battle between Miller and Ramey in the weeks leading up to election day.
