Gov. Kemp to host Flood Preparedness Roundtable

Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp will join statewide officials, local leaders, and business representatives for a roundtable discussion on flood preparedness, mitigation, and insurance for National Preparedness Month.  Others attending include Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John King, GEMA Director Homer Bryson, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black, members of the General Assembly, local leaders, and business representatives.  The roundtable takes place Thursday, September 12, at 10am in the Savannah Cultural Arts Center at 201 Montgomery Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401. This discussion will be live-streamed at www.facebook.com/GovKemp.  National Preparedness Month is recognized each September to promote family and community disaster and emergency planning now and throughout the year. The 2019 theme is “Prepared, Not Scared.”
