Georgia Gas Price Average continues to Climb

AAA reports Georgia gas prices increased at the pump compared to a week ago.  Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $4.15 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.  Monday’s state average is 17 cents more than a week ago, 43 cents more than last month, and $1.22 more than this time last year.  It now costs motorists $62.25 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline.  The most expensive Georgia metro market is Brunswick at $4.20 and the least expensive Georgia metro market is Catoosa-Dade-Walker at $4.08.  Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by 12 cents to $4.59.
