GBI seeking the public’s help in identifying Cornelia bank robber

From The Georgia Bureau of Investigation:

On Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at approximately 12:30 PM, a bank robbery occurred at the Traditions Bank in Cornelia, Georgia.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  The robber reportedly entered the bank wearing a Spiderman mask and holding a device, threating he had a bomb. No one was injured during the robbery.  The Cornelia Police Department and the GBI are investigating.

The public’s assistance is needed to identify the robber.  The robber was described as medium complexion, approximately 5’7 – 6’0”, slender build wearing dark pants, and a camouflage hoodie.  (See Photo)

The subject was driving a dark, four door, hatchback, subcompact car, similar to a Nissan Versa or Chevrolet Spark. (See Photo)

Agents and Investigators are working with Gwinnett County Police to compare the Cornelia robbery with the Gwinnett November 16th robbery.
