Fire on Screamer Mountain

A excavator caught on fire yesterday in the Screamer Mountain area and was taken care of with quick response and ease.

The local fire department stated that…

“Rabun County Station 1 responded with personnel and extinguished the fire, that was about all there was to it.”

No injures were reported and Firefighters estimate it only took around 15 mins to extinguish the fire and were only on scene around 30 minutes.
