A fire in Macon County, North Carolina, destroys a mobile home.

The West Macon Fire Department was dispatched to the blaze at around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. According to 911 call logs, a neighbor called the fire in, describing an explosion and a huge fire.

West Macon Fire Chief Josh Randall says no one was home at the time of the fire, and that the explosions were caused by several oxygen tanks left in the home which initially posed a safety issue to the firemen.

Randall explains that crews arrived on scene to find the single-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames and that it took crews about 30 minutes to contain the fire.

No injuries were reported from the fire.

The incident has been turned over the Arson Investigation Team.
