DOT Warns of High Winds and Falling Trees
The DOT has put out a warning for Northeast Georgia for this afternoon and evening…
“Please be careful today as you travel. High winds are blowing down trees across the region and could be a hazard if they fall in the roadway. Our crews will work to remove them as quickly as possible,” said Georgia DOT District Engineer Bayne Smith.
The DOT does have crews on standby throughout the region.
