Clayton and RCWSA settling Water Disputes

Two disputes over water and sewer are in the process of being settled by the City of Clayton, Town of Tiger, and Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority, explains Clayton City Manager Cissy Henry.  “The Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority, Brendan Thompson, General Manager, has asked the City Council to make an adjustment and we’re going to be straightening out the debt that is owed to the Authority under our water bill and then the Town of Tiger, which is also under the Water and Sewer Authority has a debt with the City of Clayton.  So, we are going to clean all that up and have a fresh slate for 2020.”  The City plans to work with the Authority to resolve the water and sewer disputes in the next few weeks.
