Agenda released for Clayton Council Meeting on Tuesday

The City of Clayton holds their regular monthly council meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 4pm.  According to the agenda, the Clayton City Council will hold the second reading on the alcohol ordinance, set this year’s millage rate at 8.7685, set three public hearing dates, discuss a four-way stop at Hamby Street and Church Street, discuss a short term rentals ordinance for R1, consider golf carts on city streets, make a street closure for Rabun County’s Bicentennial Fun Run on July 27, from 8:30-10:30am, discuss the DDA lease agreement, establish a preferred contractor’s list, set the 2020 LMIG road list, and schedule the Clayton Crawl for Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 4-7pm.  The council will also hear reports from the city departments and staff. The meeting is open to the public.
