Pumps Continue to Plunge

The national average price for gasoline dipped 4 cents last week, and prices in the southeast fell even further. Pump prices in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee are down 5 cents compared to last week, after falling for 18 consecutive days. Compared to peak prices in mid-June, the current state average is down 16 cents in Georgia. The peak price was $2.72 on June 15 in Georgia,the current average price is $2.56 for the State. Rabun County sits at $2.39 to start the week, down 6 cents from last week.
