City Council to Again Discuss New Water and Sewer Authority

The Clayton City Council is set to hold a work session Tuesday at 4:30pm in the courtroom at the Clayton Municipal Complex.

At the work session, the City Attorney is scheduled to give an update on the legislation that provides for the creation of a new water and sewer authority.

In addition, the Council will look at the sewer rate for the city of Tiger, and hear from the current Clayton Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority.

Following a vote at their last meeting, the council will also amend the budget to provide funds to the Rabun County Welcome Center.
