False Statements and Meth land Clayton Man in Jail

On May 21, a deputy of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an address on Alexander Lane in reference to a man with a knife attempting to stab a dog.  While on route, the deputy was advised by dispatch that the man was walking toward Black Rock Mountain Parkway.  Upon arrival, the deputy met with 25-year-old Tristian Morgan Alexander of Clayton, who denied having a knife.  In his wallet, the deputy found a clear plastic baggy with a clear crystal rock-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.  The deputy searched the area and discovered a large knife.  A dog was located nearby and found to be alright.  Alexander was arrested for making false statements and possession of methamphetamine.  He was transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.
