Georgia Pump Prices continue to Drop

Georgia gas prices declined at the pump compared to a week ago, reports AAA. Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.37 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 3 cents less than a week ago, 1 cent less than last month, and 21 cents more than this time last year.  It now costs $35.55 to fill a 15-gallon tank of gasoline; that is $5.55 less than what motorists paid in April of 2019, when pump prices hit their peak of $2.74 per gallon. The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline is $2.52 per gallon, which is 3 cents less than last week, 3 cents less than a month ago, and 26 cents more than a year ago.
