Public Hearing set on Short Term Rentals in Clayton

The City of Clayton is starting over on writing a short term rentals ordinance.  Last year, the City held public hearings on a proposed ordinance; however, too much time has passed, so the City must start again, explains Clayton City Manager Cissy Henry.  “We will have to start over because of the time that it has been since the last reading. So, there will be a public hearing on Feb. 11, the first reading and that will start prior to our work session and that is at 3pm.”  The public hearing on the proposed new short term rentals ordinance takes place in the courtroom of Clayton City Hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend and offer feedback to the council.
