Rabun Co. Commission Meeting

The Rabun County Board of Commissioners meets on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.  The work session begins at 5:30pm followed by the regular meeting at 6pm in the Rabun County courtroom.  According to the agenda, commissioners will appoint or reappoint the Chairman and Vice Chairman, consider for approval the proposal from Harbin Engineering for the vertical expansion and waste processing at the landfill, consider for approval the agreement with Legacy Link for home and community-based services, consider for approval the 2020 Census Partnership Resolution, consider for approval the resolution setting qualifying fees for elected county offices for 2020, consider for approval the Forward Rabun’s design plan not to exceed $65,000, consider for approval the 2020 holiday calendar, discuss discovery for a resolution protecting Second Amendment rights, and consider going into executive session to discuss acquisition of real estate and personnel. The meetings are open to the public.
