Wreck on Highway 76 West

A wrecked occurred around 3:20am on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, involving two people in a single vehicle crash.  The motor vehicle crash report from the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office states that a 2017 Ram 2500 was traveling on Highway 76 West near Buck Road when the driver dozed off.  When the vehicle went into a curve, it crossed over into oncoming lanes. The driver stated that when he attempted to correct, the truck and its trailer jackknifed. Fortunately, neither the 25-year-old driver or his 22-year-old passenger were injured in the single-vehicle accident.
