Tropical Storm Colin Brings Cooler Temps to Northeast Georgia, Western Carolinas

You may notice when you head to work today that the temperature is a little cooler compared to most mornings in June. There is a reason.

The National Weather Service of Greenville-Spartanburg says that Tropical Storm Colin will not bring any rain to Northeast Georgia or the Western Carolina region, but will affect our weather this week in a good way. Meteorologist Neil Dixon says Collin will provide sunny skies and mild temperatures until Friday.

Temperatures today and the rest of the week will see highs in the mid to high 70s, with lows expected to be in the mid-50s.

If you are a fan of milder weather, enjoy the next two days, as temperatures will soar into high 80s by Sunday.
