Savage Indicted in Habersham County

A Cornelia man who led authorities on a 6-hour manhunt after he shot two men at his residence on April 19th has been indicted on felony murder charges.

According to District Attorney of the Mountain Judicial Circuit Court, George Christian, said that 56 year old Tommy Savage of Cornelia was indicted on felony murder charges yesterday, following the shooting death of Jesse Looney after an apparent domestic dispute. Brandon Stephens was also shot during the dispute.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is in charge of this investigation, and no other information has been released at this time.
