Rabun Sits Even with State for Only Second Time

Low gas prices influenced what AAA forecasts to be the most Labor Day motorists to take a road trip in seven years. The average price for gasoline was the lowest on the holiday in 11 years. On Labor Day 2015, the national average price for a gallon of gasoline was $2.40, in Georgia that average was even lower, sitting at $2.25.Since peaking at $2.72 on June 15th, the Georgia average price for gasoline has declined 74 of the past 84 days, for a total of 48 cents. For only the 2nd time in that span, Rabun County sits even with the State average.
