Woman charged for death of infant

 On Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office to assist with an infant death investigation.  During the course of the investigation, information obtained indicated that Alma Leticia Lazaro – León, 24, of Mountain City, Georgia, was responsible for the death of her infant child.  Lazaro-Leon was charged and arrested on one count of murder.
