Water and Sewer Authority May Move Meetings

The Clayton Rabun County Water and Sewer Authority may meet in a new location when May’s meeting rolls around.

At the Development Authority of Rabun County’s meeting on Monday, a motion was made and approved giving the Water and Sewer permission to meet in the Boardroom of the Rabun Business Park.

Executive Director of the Development Authority Ray Coulombe said he just had one concern following water and sewer authority member Billy Johnson approaching him with the idea some time ago.

“It might be that someone will have to be here to let them in. It’s usually about an hour on the second Tuesday at 10am. They only want the board room and that’s it.”

Both Tim Darragh and Leckie Stack said they would be available if Coulombe was not.

The Water and Sewer Authority currently meets in the courtroom at the Clayton Municipal Complex.
