Two People arrested for Reckless Conduct

On April 26, deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Grizzly Ridge Road in Lakemont to assist EMS.  Dispatch advised them that a man had called 911 stating that his son had fallen and sustained injuries.  Deputies made contact with the caller, who appeared to be under the influence.  The man stated that he had used psychedelic mushrooms.  Deputies then made contact with the child’s mother, who also appeared under the influence.  The child told deputies that his mother was acting crazy.  The child was taken to the hospital for bruises on his legs and back.  The mother admitted to using mushrooms.  Deputies arrested 34-year-old Genevieve Michelle Loving of Lakemont and 37-year-old Anthony Michael Walski for reckless conduct.  Walski was also charged with a warrant out of Douglas County for failure to appear.  Both were transported to the Rabun County Detention Center.  The child was taken to Mountain Lakes Medical Center by EMS and then transferred to a caseworker with the Department of Family and Child Services.
