Two Men arrested for DUI  

Two men stand charged with driving under the influence after separate incidents over the weekend in Rabun County.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that 47-year-old Harvey Lynn Davalos of Mountain City was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, attempting to elude, and failing to have registration and license requirements to operate a motor vehicle.  He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the four charges on Sept. 27, at 7:25pm. The second DUI arrest came on Sept. 29, at 1am. A deputy on patrol observed a Ford F150 with one headlight and heavy front end damage traveling on East Savannah Street. A traffic stop ensued and 34-year-old Alexander Corey Mobley of Blairsville was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to report an accident with damage, failure to have proper headlights and taillights, and failure to maintain lane.  He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the four charges.
