Tuesday is Election Day

Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is Election Day, says Rabun County Elections Deputy Registrar Derik Pendrey. “Election Day is November 5. We will be open from 7am to 7pm at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton. Please have photo IDs ready and your cell phones turned off.” A free shuttle is being provided, says Rabun County Elections Director Tammy Whitmire. “The Elections Office will be providing a free shuttle service on November 5th for the General Election from the Clayton Baptist Church parking lot, located at 120 South Church Street in Clayton to the Elections Office front door and back to the parking lot. If you have any questions, please call the office at 706-782-1878 and choose option 4.” Everyone is encouraged to have their voices heard by voting. Once again, the Rabun County Voting Center is located at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton.
