Trio arrested on drug charges, 385 Oxycodone pills seized

Last Tuesday, the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office arrested a trio on various drug charges for what was initially thought to be a traffic violation but turned out to be the recovery of 385 oxycodone pills.

On the afternoon of June 4, a deputy with the Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at US 441/GA 15 and Kelly’s Creek Road for a traffic violation.

Deputy K9 Jorka was deployed and alerted a positive drug indication on the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, approximately 385 Oxycodone pills were found hidden inside the vehicle.

Quintiz Deadwyler, 20, of Arnoldsville, was arrested for Failure to Maintain Lane and Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.

Sheltravious Watkins, 23, of Crawford, was arrested for Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and Crossing a Guard Line with Contraband.

Keldravis Fleming, 21, of Lexington, was arrested for Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.

All three suspects were transported to the Rabun County Detention Center.
