Tiger Man arrested for DUI

Four charges were filed against a Tiger man after a traffic stop on March 20, at 1:21am.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy observed a 2000 BMW fail to obey the traffic light on Georgia 15 at the Walmart stoplight.  The deputy initiated a stop in the Walmart parking lot. The driver, 39-year-old Joshua Seth Bennett, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving while license suspended, and failure to obey a traffic control device.  He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the three charges and during the intake process, a detention officer located a clear Ziplock style bag containing a clear crystal-like substance, suspected of being methamphetamine. He was then charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
