Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Three recent motor vehicle crashes took place in Rabun County.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that the first happened on June 3, at the intersection of Persimmon Creek Drive and Millie Keener Road.  The driver of a 2003 Ford Explorer stated that he drove off the side of the road and rolled into a cow pasture.  The crash damaged a barbed-wire fence.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident.  The second wreck occurred on June 4, at the intersection of Georgia 15 and Tiger Connector.  A 2001 Honda Accord was waiting to turn and got hit from behind by a 2003 Ford Escape.  One person was taken by Rabun County EMS to Mountain Lakes Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the two-vehicle collision.  The third crash took place on June 4, on Highway 441 in Clayton.  The driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado backed into a 2015 Nissan Rogue damaging the front end.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
