Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun County
Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked three recent wrecks in the county. On April 22, a 2020 Honda Civic hit some leaves on the edge of the roadway of Darnell Creek Road, lost traction, and scrapped a tree. No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision. On April 23, a 2011 Dodge Durango was backing out of a parking space at Walmart and struck a 2017 Dodge Challenger. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision. On April 25, a 2005 Ford Escape failed to yield the right of way on Babe Ramey Road at its intersection with Amanda Drive and struck a 2011 Ford Fusion in the front driver side fender and wheel area causing damage. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
