Three Motor Vehicle Accidents in Rabun County

Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office recently worked three motor vehicle accidents in the county.  The first happened at 11:35pm on Oct. 25. The driver of a 2015 Chevy Equinox told the deputy that she was traveling north of Old 441 in the rain and fog and struck a tree that had fallen in the roadway.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident. The second occurred at 7:26am on Oct. 31. The driver of a 2007 Ford F150 told the deputy that he was traveling west on Warwoman Road and did not see the tree across the roadway until it was too late and struck it.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident. The third happened at 9:53pm on Oct. 31. The driver of a 2005 Chevy Silverado told the deputy that he was traveling east on Kelly’s Creek Road when the vehicle left the roadway at the intersection with Yorkhouse Road and traveled down an embankment into a ditch.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle accident.
