TFS Students finish Second at Lake Hartwell tournament

The Tallulah Falls School (TFS) Bass Fishing duo of DJ Broome and Shepard Crumley finished in second place in the junior division at the Lake Hartwell tournament on March 18, reports TFS Athletics.  Being the last boat to take off gave the boys a tough starting position. Their initial two spots had other anglers there, so they rotated until the final weigh-in. Broome and Crumley caught five fish for a total of 11.44 pounds, just a half-pound away from the 1st-place group. Broome/Crumley were 2nd out of 33 groups.  In the high school division, Austin Zigler and Wyatt York reeled in four fish at 5.61 pounds, placing 88th among 122 teams.  The Broome/Crumley combo now have 1,186 points in the Angler of the Year standings, which is only 8 points behind a Hart County duo.  The final regular season tournament is April 15 at Clarks Hill.
