TFS Rifle Team edged by Lumpkin for First Loss of Season

The Tallulah Falls School (TFS) Precision Rifle faced a difficult match Thursday against Lumpkin County, falling 1136-1158, reports TFS Athletics.  Joseph McGahee led the team with a 287, followed by Jue Wang (285), Chloe Erwin (283), Ethan Simmons (281), and Marc Crotta (280).  Lumpkin had its best match of the season and tied its school PR.  “We’re looking forward to the chance to face them again at home at the Area Championship later in February,” adds coach Katie Keister.  TFS is now 5-1 on the season.  The next match will be at home on February 2 against Buford.
