TFS names Anthony Cox as Head Tennis Coach

Tallulah Falls School (TFS) has handed Anthony Cox the reins of the tennis program, reports TFS Athletics.  In the wake of the boys and girls making the GHSA State Tournament, the future for both teams is very bright.  The girls’ team is fresh off its second consecutive state playoff appearance and the boys their first, culminating in a Sweet-16 appearance.  “Coach Cox has a passion for tennis and TFS student-athletes,” states Athletic Director Scott Neal. “He provides organization, structure, and discipline in a purposeful and positive manner. Coach Cox will add to the growing tradition of success as he guides the tennis program to be great.”  Cox inherits a boys team that returns all but one key contributor and a girls team brimming with young talent. He currently serves as the Director of Enrollment Services within the admissions department at TFS, is the head coach of the boys and girls middle school tennis teams and has served as the head middle school basketball coach.  “We are dedicated to constantly enhancing our athletic programs; naming Coach Cox head coach will boost our program,” said President and Head of School Larry A. Peevy. These two talented coaches are poised to make an immediate positive impact on the overall program.”  “I am honored that Coach Neal and Dr. Peevy have entrusted me with this opportunity to continue to elevate the tennis program at TFS,” adds Cox. “Coach Randy Morris is one of the finest gentlemen I’ve ever come to know, and I’m excited to build on the foundation of the program and the family that he has built. We have some fine young men and women in the program who are excellent student-athletes. The expectations will be high, but I am extremely confident that the passion and work ethic is there to achieve great things within the tennis program. I am humbled and thrilled to lead this group forward to new heights.”
