TFS Middle School Volleyball sweeps past War Hill and White Creek

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media for Tallulah Falls School (TFS) reports it was a great night for the TFS middle school volleyball teams. The A-Team and B-Team competed on the road against White Creek Christian Academy and War Hill Christian Academy on Thursday night.  “Wins all around tonight,” says coach Whittney LaHayne. “The girls did a great job all around tonight.”  The A-Team played the first set against both teams, while the B-Team played the second sets of both matches.  With the A-Team on the court, the Lady Indians cruised to a 25-10 first set win over White Creek. B-Team polished off the win with a 25-12 second set.  Against War Hill, the A-Team logged a 25-15 set win, and the B-Team fought hard for a 26-24 win in the second set, claiming the match. Karagan Branson led the B-Team with serves, and Chesney Tanksley and Julia Smith led with serves for the A-Team.  With the wins for the A-Team, they are now 5-3 overall. The B-Team is 3-4-1 overall.  “Coach [Hannah] Satterfield and I are proud of the girls for showing focus and good sportsmanship,” adds LaHayne.
