TFS Coaches name Indians of the Week

Tallulah Falls School (TFS) coaches have selected Indian Athletes of the Week for Oct. 7-12.

VARSITY GIRL

Sophomore Emily Church of Clarkesville was named an Indian of the Week by volleyball coach Matt Heyl. “Emily has done a great job as setter this past week,” Heyl said. “She plays her best all the time. Emily understands what it means to give your all for the team. It has been a joy seeing her perform. Her hard work is much appreciated by all.”

VARSITY BOY

Junior Peyton Gunn of Alto was selected as an Indian of the Week by precision rifle coach Tim Stamey. “Peyton has worked extremely hard to learn all three shooting positions and to shoot competitively,” Stamey said. “Out of six new shooters this year he was the only one ready to shoot in Saturday’s competition in Anniston, Alabama. Peyton shot a 539 out of 600 which was the highest score for the first match that I have ever seen. He exhibits all standards of GREAT and is a blessing to coach.”
