TFS Coaches name Indians of the Week

Tallulah Falls School (TFS) coaches have selected Indian Athletes of the Week for Feb. 17-22. 

Middle school girl

Eighth-grader Brooke Hayes of Cornelia was named an Indian of the Week by middle school golf coach Hannah Wall.   “Brooke was our second low medalist during our first round of qualifying this season. Brooke is very coachable and always leads by example,” Wall said. “She always comes to practice with a drive to improve her skills. Between Brooke’s golf ability and strong work ethic, I am excited to see her post good scores for us this season.”

Middle school boy 

Seventh-grader Noah Page of Jefferson was named an Indian of the Week by middle school golf coach Hannah Wall.  “Noah was our low medalist during our first qualifying round of the season. Not only is he a talented golfer, but he displays exceptional character. Noah always has a positive attitude and works hard during practice,” Wall said. “He has taken on a leadership role, as he leads with both kindness and humility.”

Varsity girl

Junior McKinlee Chatman of Toccoa was named an Indian of the Week by tennis coach Randy Morris.  “McKinlee has been a GREAT addition to the Lady Indians tennis team this season. In preparation for our first season match, McKinlee has worked in an exemplary fashion. She started as No. 13 on the depth chart,” Morris said. “McKinlee has worked her way to a top-three singles position. She has displayed poise and character during this adventure earning the respect of her coaches and teammates. Congratulations to McKinlee for her IOW honors.”

Varsity boy

Sophomore Kyler Clouatre of Clarkesville was named an Indian of the Week by tennis coach Randy Morris.  “Kylar came into the season with a fire to make the varsity Indian tennis team,” Morris said. “Through perseverance and GREAT challenge play, Kylar has worked his way to the No. 3 singles position on the team. He has inspired those around him to work harder to be the best that they can be. Congratulations to Kylar for his IOW honors.”
