Sophomore Madi Perdue of Clayton was named an Indian of the Week by precision rifle coach Tim Stamey. “Madi is a positive force for the team and is constantly encouraging and helping,” Stamey said. “Her personal goal this year was to shoot a 570 in a 3 Position (3P) match. She accomplished that Saturday in the first major match of the season at a range she has never shot in. She contributed greatly to the team shattering the old school 3P record by 51 points.”

Sophomore Zion Parnes of Toccoa was selected as an Indian of the Week by precision rifle coach Tim Stamey. “Zion works hard to master the sport and is extremely competitive,” Stamey said. “He is in his first year of rifle and shot a practice match earlier in the week so well that he made the four-person team to shoot in the match Saturday. Zion then shot an amazing first match score of 554. He will continue to contribute to this team’s success for years to come.”
