Tallulah Falls reorganizes at First Meeting of New Year

At their first meeting of the new year, the Tallulah Falls Town Council reorganized after swearing-in new members.  Tallulah Falls Town Clerk Linda Lapeyrouse gives details. “So, we had our first organizational and regular council meeting on Jan. 9.  We swore in the mayor and two new council members. They did some organizational things and decided the Mayor Pro-Tem is going to be Councilman Larry Hamilton.  They are going to keep their meeting schedule on the same Thursday night of the month that they’ve been meeting on but they are going to do it at 6pm instead of 7pm and they moved the council work sessions to two weeks prior if they are needed.  Our next meeting will be Feb. 13, at 6pm.” The Tallulah Falls Town Council meets at Town Hall, which is located at 255 Main Street.
