Your new Tri-State Middle School Girls Basketball Champions are the Tallulah Falls Lady Indians. Tallulah and Rabun Gap Nacoochee squared off for the 3rd time this season in a #1 vs #2 matchup. Led by Nyah Williams’ 19 points the Lady Indians got off to a hot start and never looked back, leading the game all the way to their 36-33 victory. The Rabun Gap Eagles fought hard in the second half, bringing a 17 point deficit down to 3 but coming up just short when the final buzzer of the season sounded. Rabun Gap’s leading scorer was Regan Evans with 17 points. Indians floor general Williams had this to say after the win…

“It feels really good cause my team, we’ve been working hard for it, and we’re the first to ever win in our school history, so it feels real good. I’m really proud of them cause we worked really hard, I’m just really proud.”
