Ryan Radcliff threw three touchdown passes, including the eventual game- winning toss to Cody Wilson late in the fourth quarter to give Central Michigan a 24-21 victory over Western Kentucky in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.

College football’s bowl season continues on Thursday with three games on the schedule. All three games will be between teams playing each other for the first time.

The University of Georgia will be without one of its most formidable defensive weapons when it plays Nebraska in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1. John Jenkins, a senior who started all 13 games at noseguard for the Bulldogs, was unable to meet academic requirements to maintain his eligibility for the bowl game.

The Hawks needed nine points in double overtime from Jeff Teague for a 126-119 victory over the Pistons Wednesday night at Philips Arena. The Hawks nearly gift-wrapped and gave away a game they dominated for three and a half quarters when Detroit erased a 22 point Atlanta lead.

Pro Bowl
The rosters for the 2013 Pro Bowl were announced Wednesday and Denver’s Peyton Manning and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers were named the starting quarterbacks for their conferences, AFC and NFC, respectively. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, tight end Tony Gonzalez and second-year wide receiver Julio Jones were the three players from Atlanta named to the NFC’s Pro Bowl team.
