The Titans intercepted New York quarterback Mark Sanchez four times in a 14-10 victory at LP Field.  New York (6-8) needed to win its final three games to have a shot at a playoff berth, but Sanchez’s performance, which included a fumbled snap with the Jets deep in Tennessee territory and under a minute remaining, ended any chance of the Jets earning a postseason bid.

The Braves added another bench piece Thursday, signing utility infielder Ramiro Pena to a one-year major league contract. Pena, a former New York Yankee who has played shortstop, third base, and second base, provides the Braves another backup shortstop.
